I wouldn't mind if Yuji got to go on a 'vacation' arc after this and not having to worry about world ending cults

I wonder if the 'destroy all black companies' would affect in japan, b/c while i'm sure there are isekai groups that 'overwork' ppl, the concept of a black company might not be the same, esp when adventurers work on their own schedule, escort missions and group subjugation/cities being endangered aside

They might have some way to automatically determine if he's currently suffering from a status ailment or not. Then again, everyone who read the book of ethos went on to do something crazy, so despite all the protections they have on the library many can get in, read the books and then go out and go nuts.

I thought that, if they confirmed he didn't suffer from mental erosion, they would ask him some questions about the book so that they can learn what kind of content it has without having to deal with the mental erosion.

I'm thinking of it as, ritual magic, meant to be cast by a whole group of high class magicians, cast by a single person.

I think the new safety measures were put in place after they all went crazy

The other sage could. Maybe these are just spells designed for and by past sages

Previous Sage could only use them limited times, Yuuji can spam them. I'm guessing even the Sage exclusive ones were supposed to be cast after gathering the mana of others into the caster. I think Yuuji's base mana capacity was supposedly explained by the hundred cultists or whatever that sacrificed themselves to summon him.
